Being more active will help you to live well with Parkinson’s and as well as aiding cardiovascular fitness, balance, strength and coordination, many people say it helps them to sleep better, feel less anxious and to help them keep doing the things that they enjoy.

Tom Ingram, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Parkinson’s UK, said: “Developing a regular physical activity habit can make a person feel more in control when living with the condition. Quality of life can be enhanced and independence and confidence maintained. We hope that with the support of Everyone Active, the Parkinson’s community can enjoy physical activity to make a real difference to their lives.”

On 1 July 2023 Everyone Active was awarded a leisure contract with Waverley Borough Council for 10 years – expanding its reach in the area. The new agreement will see Everyone Active manage the leisure centres in Farnham, Haslemere, Godalming and Cranleigh.*
