Ba Duan Jin or BDJ is a traditional Chinese exercise with a long written history. It is well known for its gentle, slow movements and associated health benefits. Ruby Ho, Health Qigong Ba Duan Jin instructor, believes that Health Qigong Ba Duan Jin practice can help to reduce some of the problems faced by people living with Parkinson’s. Ruby delivered a talk on Health Qigong Ba Duan Jin and Parkinson’s at the University of Hong Kong’s Centre on Behavioural Health (CBH). This centre for training and research is interested in exploring if ‘BDJ and Parkinson’s’ is a worthwhile topic for research.
