Crispian Steele-Perkins Trumpet Concert

The Crispian Steele-Perkins Trumpet Concert will be held from 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm on Saturday 21 May at the chapel at Barrow Hills School in Witley to raise funds for the Branch.

 

Crispian is the trumpeter in the theme tune for Antiques Road Show. He is a superb trumpet player with a wide repertoire and he is also a good and humorous speaker. In this concert, entitled Trumpets Through the Ages: a Musical Journey Through Time, Crispian goes into the history of the trumpet and plays examples that he has restored from the days of Haydn or earlier.

 

The accompanist for Crispian is Ian Richardson

 

Light refreshments will be served in the refectory during the interval, when raffle tickets will be on sale.

 

Tickets are £15 per adult / £5.00 per child, including light refreshments. Entry is strictly by ticket only from Steve

30 July

Our fabulous Summer Picnic is back again at Great Halfpenny Farm, Halfpenny Lane, Guildford and will be held Saturday 30th July. There will Cream Teas, Tombola, a Pimm’s Stall and new for this year a Plant Stall. Games for children will also be available. For those of you who are green fingered and would like to donate a few garden plants, please let our Treasurer, Steve Heron, know. sheron@guildfordparkinsons.org.uk

24 September – Guildford Cathedral Abseil

Parkinson’s UK will hold an all-day abseil event Guildford Cathedral in aid of the charity. Participants will be able to abseil down this fantastic building and raise funds for Parkinson's UK at the same time.
